The Setup: Spacious dispersed campsite accessed via USFS Road 6200, near the Chiwawa River. The site sits close to the river with multiple pull-in areas suitable for several vehicles.

Amenities: Primitive site with informal river-edge bathing pools built up by previous visitors. No formal facilities or services.

The Highlights: Large, open campsite with direct river access and natural swimming spots. The popular ORV corridor adds occasional passing motorcycles and four-wheelers but overall remains a relaxed outdoor setting. Good space for small groups or multiple vehicles camping together.

Verizon: weak ~1 bar (3G, effectively unusable)

Access Notes: USFS 6200 is sandy with short steep sections, ruts, and dips but is generally passable without 4x4. Not recommended for trailers due to terrain and road conditions. Suitable for 2–3 vehicles easily once at site.
