Twisp River NF Dispersed Campsite via NF-44000155

The Setup: Free dispersed camping along the Twisp River area, accessed from Twisp River Road about 12 miles from the town of Twisp. From the Twisp River Recreation Area, continue past the War Creek campground, then turn left onto NF-44000155, cross the river, and take the first left into a large dispersed camping zone.

Amenities: Primitive National Forest site with no facilities. The nearby established campground (War Creek) offers pit toilets and paid sites before reaching this area.

The Highlights: Large open dispersed area with multiple possible campsites capable of fitting several rigs. Tight access through shrubs makes it better suited for vans and smaller setups rather than trailers or large RVs. Quiet riverside forest setting with multiple spur options nearby.
