Salmon River Multi-Site Beach Camps

The Setup: Four dispersed campsites spread out along the Salmon River corridor, each offering different terrain and river access characteristics.

Amenities: Primitive campsites with fire pits at the first two beach sites. No developed facilities or services.

The Highlights:

The first two sites feature beautiful white sand beaches and the best river access/views.
Campsites are nicely spaced apart, providing privacy and quiet surroundings.
Later sites offer flatter road-access camping areas better suited for easier parking and setup.

Connectivity:

Weak cell service available at the first two sites

Access Notes: Narrow, rough access road throughout the area. Sandy approaches to the first two camps may be difficult for drivers inexperienced with sand driving. Barbed burrs are common at the farther inland sites and can be rough on dogs’ paws. Trailers may technically fit at the farther sites, but maneuvering conditions are not ideal.
