Ridge Line Fire Road Overlook with Panoramic Park Views
The Setup: Dispersed camping access along a fire road that climbs up to a ridge line. The road is generally manageable and was reached in a 2WD Sprinter van even during rainy conditions, though weather can make it more challenging at times.
Amenities: Primitive, undeveloped site with no facilities or services. Camping is entirely self-supported, with limited defined pull-offs along the ridge depending on conditions and space availability.
The Highlights: Expansive panoramic views overlooking the entire park from the ridge line. Conditions can be foggy, but when clear, the scenery is exceptional and well worth the drive. The elevation provides a dramatic vantage point above the surrounding landscape.
