Quiet Rainforest Cul-de-Sac Camp Near Alder Creek
The Setup: A fully shaded gravel cul-de-sac on Washington state forest land near Alder Creek. Easy 2WD access on gravel roads, though overgrowth may brush larger vans or RVs. A 24’ Class C fit level near the end of the road. Discovery Pass required.
Amenities: Primitive dispersed site with no facilities. Small turnaround area near the creek and a separate tent area with a fire ring across shallow Alder Creek. Gravel roads remain manageable in wet weather.
The Highlights: Exceptionally quiet rainforest setting about 12 miles from the Hoh Visitor Center. Surrounded by dense forest, berries in season, and creek access. Peaceful, secluded atmosphere with excellent shade and privacy.
