Quiet 4-Site Streamside Dispersed Camping Area
The Setup: Small dispersed camping corridor with four established sites along a forest road near a creek. Each pullout includes space for tents and vehicle camping, with a short walk down to the water.
Amenities:
Pit toilet located ~100 yards up the road
Fire pit down by the creek (at least one site)
Stream access
The Highlights: Very quiet outside of peak season (fall through spring especially), with peaceful forest and stream sounds. Excellent access to the creek and a natural fire area near the water. Each site offers a slightly different pullout, giving some variety and privacy.
Connectivity: Not specified.
Access Notes: The road has significant potholes and requires cautious driving with higher clearance recommended (trucks with campers reported fine). Entry to the first campsite includes a low-hanging maple branch—better to pass, turn around, and approach from upstream. Each site has space for tents, but maneuvering can be tight in spots.
