Old Custer Highway Creekside Dispersed Camp
The Setup: A remote dispersed campsite along the historic Old Custer Highway corridor, set in a scenic forested area with a stream wrapping around the site.
Amenities: Picnic table and fire ring. Nearby Forest Service campgrounds are available along the road if preferred.
The Highlights: Strong sense of history along a route with multiple nearby ghost towns. Peaceful wilderness atmosphere with a stream encircling the campsite and opportunities for short hikes uphill for expansive views of the surrounding landscape.

Access Notes: Generally accessible in summer without high clearance or 4WD. Snow can persist into late spring and may block travel on higher sections.
