The Setup: Remote forest campsite located about 7 miles down a rough-but-manageable dirt road off Colorado State Highway 8, with an additional turn onto FS 376 leading to a large, tucked-away clearing.

The Highlights: A large, private-feeling clearing surrounded by forest with beautiful scenery both on the drive in and at camp. Despite being an officially designated site, it feels remote and quiet, often with low or no occupancy. Creek proximity adds a peaceful natural backdrop.
