High-Elevation Ridge Pull-Off with Hood Canal & Rainier Views

The Setup: High-elevation pull-off at around 2,200 feet above sea level overlooking the Olympic Forest, descending toward the Hood Canal, with views extending east to Mount Rainier.

Amenities: Primitive roadside site with no facilities or services. Limited space and minimal pull-offs along the access road.

The Highlights: Dramatic ridge-top scenery with sweeping forest views, visible raptors riding thermals below, and a striking panorama that includes Mount Rainier in the distance. Quiet, elevated, and highly scenic.
