The Setup: An alternative dispersed campsite near an already-established/popular nearby camping area, positioned slightly closer to the road and partially sheltered by trees at roughly 11,000 feet elevation.

The Highlights: Quiet alpine backup site with decent leveling and good Verizon reception despite the remote elevation. Trees provide some shelter and privacy, though they partially block mountain views compared to nearby open campsites. Excellent option when more scenic nearby sites are occupied.
