FS 6710 Gravel Pull-Off near Iron Goat Trailhead

The Setup: A large, flat, dispersed gravel camping area located along FS Road 6710 off the Old Cascade Highway, just before the Iron Goat Trail and Martin Creek trailhead area. Easy-access open space suitable for vehicles and small groups.

Amenities: Primitive site with no facilities or services. No shade, but wide open exposure is ideal for solar setups.

The Highlights: Expansive valley views with a relaxed, open feel. Convenient base for hiking the Iron Goat Trail and exploring nearby forest and waterfall features. Occasional train noise in the distance adds to the character of the area, along with faint waterfall sounds nearby.

Connectivity:

AT&T: usable/spotty but functional
Starlink: works well due to open sky exposure

Access Notes: Easy gravel road access with no need for high clearance. Suitable as a comfortable alternative to roadside pullouts, with enough space for multiple vehicles.
