Eureka Road Gate Camp with Hells Canyon Views

The Setup: A flat, dispersed camping area at the gate of FS-780 (Eureka Road), near the Eureka Viewpoint Trail and overlooking Hells Canyon and the Seven Devils Mountains range.

Amenities: Informal fire rings. No developed facilities or services.

The Highlights: Expansive canyon and mountain views, especially striking during spring wildflower season. Quiet, remote atmosphere with plenty of room for several rigs and access to nearby hiking and backcountry exploration. The area is also used seasonally by hunters.

Access Notes: Requires high-clearance AWD or 4x4 for the final 1.2 miles from Buckhorn Overlook. The flat camping area can accommodate roughly 4–5 rigs once reached.
