Dumont Lake Overflow Pull-Off Camping (Colorado Trail Access)

The Setup: Informal overnight camping pull-offs located up a dead-end paved road past Dumont Lake Campground and near Colorado Trail access. Several roadside pull-outs and fire-ring sites are available before the trail terminus.

Paved access road suitable for a 21’ motorhome
Pull-offs are sloped; leveling blocks recommended

Winter access can become dangerous without 4x4 due to snow/ice
Mosquitoes can be heavy during warmer months
Suitable for vans, trucks, small RVs, and trailers depending on site selection
Nearby campground fee camping also available (~$12)
Excellent hiking, fishing, and wildflower viewing area
