Creekside Spur Camp off Custer Motorway

The Setup: Dispersed campsite located on a short spur off the historic Custer Motorway, set just far enough from the main road to avoid dust and traffic noise. Small creekside pull-off in a forested setting.

Amenities: Primitive site with a rock fire ring. No other facilities or services.

The Highlights: Excellent creek access for wading, relaxing, or letting dogs play in the water. Quiet wild camping atmosphere with a strong sense of history nearby along the old 1870s toll road corridor and the nearby Custer ghost town area.

Connectivity:

No cell service

Access Notes: The spur road is short and generally accessible while exploring the historic Custer Motorway route. Good stop for a scenic break while touring the area.
