Colchuck Lake Trailhead Pull-Off Riverside Camp

The Setup: A small dispersed pull-off campsite located less than half a mile from the Colchuck Lake Trailhead. Includes roadside vehicle parking plus a short trail leading to riverside tent camping areas.

The Highlights: Shaded parking area ideal for keeping pets cooler during daytime hikes. Calm river access adds a peaceful atmosphere, and the area is notably clean and well cared for. Excellent staging spot for early hikes into the Colchuck Lake area.

Access Notes: Access requires roughly 3.5 miles of dirt road that can be somewhat rough but manageable in dry conditions, even for moderate-sized rigs (reported accessible in a 23 ft bus). Wet conditions may significantly worsen the road. Space is best suited for a couple of cars or 1–2 smaller rigs.
